Command Abbreviation and Completion
You do not need to type an entire command name in order to execute a command. If you type enough characters to
uniquely identify a command and then type a <space> or <tab> character, eqcli will automatically display the
remainder of the command name.
For example, if in the global context you type cert and then press the space bar:
eqcli > cert<space>
The CLI fills in the rest of the command line for you, followed by a space:
eqcli > certificate<space>
This also works with multiple keywords on the same command line. So, for example, you can type the following:
eqcli > sh<space>cl<space>
And the CLI will expand this to:
eqcli > show<space>cluster<space>
If the string that you type before pressing <space> or <tab> does not uniquely identify a command, then the CLI
displays a list of all the commands that match the string you entered, and then re-displays the string that you
typed. For example:
eqcli > c<space>
certificate cluster context crl
eqcli > c
