The Backup feature allows you to back up an Equalizer’s user-configured objects and parameters to a file that can
be uploaded and later restored to another Equalizer. Backup files may be uploaded to an FTP site or saved locally.
The Restore feature allows you to restored a previous backup file containing user-configured objects and
parameters to another Equalizer. Restored files may be uploaded to an Equalizer through FTP or from a locally
saved backup file.
Backup and Restore procedures can be performed using with eqcli or the GUI. Refer to "Backup and Restore" on
page 541 for procedures.
The GUI configuration of Backup and Restore is accomplished by clicking on Equalizer, the Maintenance tab and
then Backup and Restore to display the following:

Refer to "Licensing Equalizer" on page 68 for descriptions.
Manage Software
You can upgrade your version of EQ OS 10 using the EQ/OS Software Manage Software screen on the GUI. This
is accessed by clicking on the hostname at the top of the left navigational pane and selecting Maintenance > .
