Failover
Failover Mode Description
Standalone No failover configured.
Not Initialized
A peer has not completed initialization. Thisis a temporary
condition.
Primary The Equalizer isthe primaryfailover peer.
Backup The Equalizer is the backup failover peer.
Not Used
Thisis alwaysshown with the Unassigned F/O Group.It is
specifically used with Active/Active or N+1 failover. Thisdisplay is
essentially a placeholder and indicates that there are no members
to this failover group.
In the CLI, the failover mode is displayed in the F/O Mode column. To display the Failover Mode in the CLI, enter
the following:
If you are using Active/Active or N+1 failover, the following is an example of where the F/O Mode is displayed for
the failover groups as follows:
To display the Failover Mode in the Failover Status screen in the GUI, click on the Peers top level object on the left
navigational pane. The following is an example of a Failover Status display:
